A couple mornings a week, Julia and I drop Emma off at school on the bike and then roam the city for an hour while Rachel works out. In the warmer months we spend a lot of time in the parks, and it's been coffee shops since it got colder. Yesterday, on a New York January morning, we found the ferry. Our hour inside cost us $8 – round trip fare to Bay Ridge and back.
